Building a Culture of CARE Together

Friends of the Jae Foundation,

I hope this message finds you well. As many of you know, It’s Cool To CARE has moved full-time to Twin Falls, Idaho, thanks to the incredible generosity shown at the 2025 Jae Foundation Auction and the funds raised to keep both myself and ICTC rooted here in the Magic Valley. This impact does not happen without you.

This new season has been especially meaningful as ICTC serves as a softer launch to Jae’s Story, working alongside the Jae Foundation. While Jae’s Story powerfully reaches high school seniors and above, ICTC’s focus is intentionally leaning in earlier. As mental health challenges continue to arise at younger ages, our goal is simple and proactive: start the conversation sooner with positive messages of CARE.

By meeting students early, we remind our young friends that they are deeply loved, seen, and cared for. Our hope is to catch and address mental health struggles early, helping reduce more serious crises as students grow older. Prevention starts with presence, conversation, and CARE.

Because of your support, ICTC had the opportunity to impact over 35 schools this past fall alone and the best news is, we are just getting started.

ICTC Middle School Outreach.
Our middle school outreach events have been some of the most meaningful moments of the year. These gatherings create safe spaces for students to slow down, breathe, connect, and talk honestly about what they’re feeling.

Each event includes:
● Open, heartfelt conversations about caring, mental health, and looking out for one another
● Creative, hands-on activities that help students express themselves
● A strong sense of community and belonging

Launch of It’s Cool To Play.

We were thrilled to launch It’s Cool To Play, an adaptive needs initiative built on one simple belief: Everyone deserves to play.

In partnership with Kim Leonard, founder of the Idaho Playground Project, this initiative creates inclusive, empowering spaces where individuals of all abilities, and their families, feel welcomed, valued, and celebrated. These events will be held quarterly. Our first event, Two-Step Tuesday (October 28), was held at the Boot-Check Sports Ranch and included a petting zoo, pumpkin painting, crafts, and a potato bar. We are
incredibly thankful to the Jae Foundation for opening this special space to us. Experiencing the Ranch firsthand gave us even more excitement for what’s ahead.

ICTC Leadership Journeys
We are excited to share that ICTC Leadership Journeys are in full effect, powered by the Jae Foundation as we truly are better together.

The ICTC Leadership Journey is a three-session experience designed to bring student leaders together to plan a school-wide ICTC Week. At It’s Cool To CARE and the Jae Foundation, we believe something foundational: We can’t lead others well until we learn how to lead ourselves.

Across these three sessions, we pour into student leaders—building confidence, character, and the ability to positively influence their school culture. Our goal is to equip students with the tools they need to lead transformational, student-driven ICTC Weeks, just as we know they are capable of doing.

With So Much Gratitude
From the bottom of my heart… THANK YOU!
Your generosity isn’t just funding programs and events. It’s not only changing lives, its saving them. You are giving students hope. You are strengthening families and communities. And you are helping create a culture of CARE.

Thank you for believing in this mission.

Thank you for believing in our youth.

It’s Boot-Check time friends, and as always It’s Cool To CARE.

With love and gratitude,
Caroline Simpson
