Friends of the Jae Foundation,
I want to take a moment to share that Julie Mackey has decided to step into a new chapter and will be transitioning from her role with the Jae Foundation.
Over the past few years, Julie has served as our Outreach Coordinator in Wyoming, faithfully and courageously sharing Jae’s story with schools, families, and communities. Through those conversations, lives were touched and meaningful dialogue around mental health and hope began. In particular, her leadership in our High School Senior Boots Initiative created powerful moments of encouragement for high school seniors navigating one of life’s most important seasons. That impact has been real and lasting.
We all experience different seasons and chapters in this thing called life. We are grateful Julie chose to spend this season with the Jae Foundation and for the heart she brought to advancing our mission of creating hope and a future.
At the same time, our vision in Wyoming remains bold. We have big dreams of ensuring that every senior, every year, in every school receives their Jae Boots — and we are excited to continue bringing that vision to life. The mission is strong, and the work continues.
For our Wyoming friends reading this, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Wyoming Executive Director, Jansen Curry, at jansen@jaefoundation.com with any questions regarding Julie’s transition, the High School Senior Boots Initiative, or Jae’s Place Casper.
Please join us in thanking Julie for her efforts over the past several years and in wishing her the very best in this next chapter.
Thank you, as always, for standing with us and believing in this work.
It’s Boot-Check Time!
