Moving From Awareness to Action

Friends of the Jae Foundation,

As May, Mental Health Awareness Month, and Memorial Day weekend come to a close, I wanted to take a minute to recognize all of the organizations, businesses, schools, teams, and individuals who did their part this month to bring awareness to mental health.

Every conversation matters. Every story matters. Every person matters.

While awareness alone is not enough, awareness often becomes the starting point for connection, healing, and hope.

As a culture, we have an opportunity to continue moving from awareness to action:

• Spending more intentional time with people

• Checking in on one another

• Creating healthier workplaces and teams

• Reducing the stigma around asking for help

• Helping people find purpose, belonging, and connection

I also want to take a moment today to acknowledge anyone spending time remembering a lost loved one this Memorial Day weekend.

For those who have lost someone to suicide, I know this journey can be incredibly difficult to navigate and heal from. Please know you are not alone. You are in my prayers today.

My hope is that today you are able to remember the good, hold tightly to the memories that mattered most, and continue finding purpose through the pain while never forgetting the person you love.

Thank you for continuing to walk alongside us as we strive to create hope and a brighter future.

It’s Boot-Check Time!

- Jason
