Eleven days from today, on September 8, a group of Wyoming high school seniors will walk through the doors of Jae’s Place Wyoming in downtown Casper for our very first Jae Boots experience in the new space. They’ll come for a pair of boots, but as we know, the boots are only the beginning.

They’ll step into a place intentionally created for connection, conversation, and the simple but powerful reminder that no one has to walk through life alone.

For several years, our Jae Foundation Wyoming family has carried this mission into temporary spaces across the state. Now, we are just days away from having a permanent place in Wyoming to call home. That makes September 8 much more than a date on the calendar. It marks the beginning of a new chapter for our mission in Wyoming.

Jae’s Place Wyoming has been taking shape inside Casper’s historic Wonder Bar building, and with opening day less than two weeks away, we are almost there. When our first senior group arrives September 8, the building will be ready to host the Jae Boots experience, even as some final finishes continue around us.

We’re choosing to open the doors and begin the work because the heart of Jae’s Place isn’t found in perfectly finished details. It’s found in the people who gather there and the conversations that happen inside.

In 2025, we served 36 Wyoming high schools and distributed 3,585 pairs of High School Senior Jae Boots across the state. Jae’s Place gives that growing impact a permanent home and creates space for even more connection in the years ahead.

September 8 is our program opening, but it won’t be our last celebration. Throughout September our team will continue welcoming senior groups while the final details of the building are completed.

Then, in mid-October, we plan to celebrate with an official grand opening of Jae’s Place Wyoming. We can’t wait to welcome our donors, volunteers, partners, families, and community members into the space and let you see what you helped build.

This place belongs to our One Jae Fam, and every person who has believed in this mission is part of its story.
