More Than A Retreat. A Call to Lead.

Friends of the Jae Foundation,

This past week, something special happened in Wyoming.

Men from Idaho, Wyoming, and beyond gathered for four days to step away from the demands of everyday life and lean into something much bigger than ourselves.

Together, we had honest conversations about purpose, the epidemic of male suicide, the influence of youth sports, fatherhood, leadership, and what it truly means to create more than we consume. We laughed together. We challenged one another. We built meaningful friendships. Most importantly, we left with a renewed commitment to become the men our families, communities, and future generations need us to be.

Watching people find purpose, build lifelong friendships, and leave with a renewed commitment to make a difference is one of the greatest privileges of our work at the Jae Foundation.

Why does this matter?

Because the statistics are sobering.

Nearly 80% of all suicide deaths in the United States are men. Too many men carry the weight of life in silence, believing they have to figure it out on their own.

At the Jae Foundation, we believe changing those statistics starts long before a crisis. It starts by creating spaces where we can be real. Where purpose is discovered. Where authentic friendships are formed. Where vulnerability is seen as strength. Where we challenge one another to become better husbands, fathers, coaches, business leaders, and friends.

Our mission has always been about creating hope and a future. While many people know us for the work we do with youth, we also believe one of the greatest ways to impact the next generation is by investing in the men who influence them every day.

This retreat wasn’t the finish line—it was the starting line.

We accepted the challenge to create more than we consume, to lead with purpose, and to make a difference in the lives of others. We believe that when men choose to lead with authenticity, humility, and courage, the ripple effect reaches families, teams, workplaces, and communities.

Thank you to every man who invested in this retreat and to every donor, volunteer, and supporter who makes experiences like this possible. Together, we are creating hope and a future—one conversation, one relationship, and one life at a time.
