High School Senior Boots

What is High School Senior Boots?

The Jae Foundation High School Senior Boot Program is our top priority. This initiative aimed at supporting High School Seniors provides each student with a pair of Jae Boots along with a bold message of mental health awareness, suicide prevention and resilience. This transformational approach provides the ultimate Boot-Check for these students, reminding them that they loved, valued, wanted and needed here and that they have a community around them.

This program is designed to connect with high school seniors during a pivotal time in their lives—as they prepare to graduate and transition into their next chapter. The goal of this initiative is to equip students with tools to have bold conversations about mental health and commit to reaching out if they are ever in need. These seniors are challenged to “take the reins” and go back into their respective High Schools and create a Boot-Check culture. These Boot-Check days are changing school cultures by encouraging students to check in on themselves and each other and to talk about mental health.

During the fall of 2025, the Jae Foundation High School Senior Boot Initiative has impacted over 5,500 Idaho and Wyoming High School Seniors and has worked with over 60 different High Schools.

If you would like to partner with the Jae Foundation to sponsor a group of Idaho seniors, please reach out to Jamie at jamie@jaefoundation.com or jansen@jaefoundation.com for Wyoming Seniors.  We would love to share more about the impact that this program is having on our area schools.

The Jae Foundation Team works with schools outside of sponsored counties to help find funding for Jae Boots.  For more information on this process, please contact jamie@jaefoundation.com

We work daily with generous sponsors who see the incredible value in sharing Jae’s Story with High School Seniors.  If you would like to sponsor a senior class, please contact jamie@jaefoundation.com. The average cost for a pair of Jae Boots is $200 per student.

Our Team at the Jae Foundation can’t wait to work with your District.  To get a group of students scheduled, please contact emily@jaefoundation.com
